MCLEAN, VA, April 25, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Rouben Yedigarian, McLean dentist, is pleased to be joining the social media world by creating Facebook and Twitter pages for his patients to follow. In addition, the McLean, VA dentist also has created a dentistry blog that can be found on his practice's new comprehensive website.

The practice's presence on Facebook and Twitter will allow for more online discussion between Dr. Yedigarian, his staff and his patients. The dentist in McLean will use the Facebook page to post article and general dental information. Patients will be able to comment and ask questions of Dr. Yedigarian. On Twitter, patients that follow the McLean dentist will also get updates on the practice, links to blog posts and short thoughts on dentistry.
In addition to Facebook and Twitter pages, Dr. Yedigarian is also writing a dentistry blog. The blog is designed to increase patient awareness of dental topics by providing informative and educational posts.
"I have always believed that a more informed patient is more likely to take care of his or her oral health. The blog hopefully will help to educate our patients and keep them prepared to take care of their personal dental health," said Dr. Yedigarian, McLean cosmetic dentist.
Dr. Yedigarian's blog can be found on his practice's new comprehensive dental website. The site is designed to be a one-stop shop for all of his patient's dental needs. In addition to general information like office location, hours and staff bios, there is also a full list of the services provided at Dr. Yedigarian's practice.
For new patients, there are easily downloadable new patient forms that can be filled out prior to coming in for the first appointment. There are also easy to use turn-by-turn directions powered by Google Maps.
